DLG wins silver at the E-Commerce Award 2018

Thursday 24 May, more than 800 professional e-commerce enthusiasts were gathered in Øksnehallen in Copenhagen when FDIH hosted the year's biggest industry event the E-Commerce Award 2018. Hesehus’s customer DLG impressively won silver in the category “Best B2B company", and Hesehus can now be proud of having helped ambitious e-sellers to win 15 top positions in the prestigious award show – of which four are of a very high calibre.

DLG, one of Europe’s largest farm supply companies, was nominated in the category “Best B2B company” where the companies were assessed based on whether they brilliantly sell products and/or services through digital channels.

In the assessment of the five finalists, the jury is emphasising great business talent, the company’s talent for innovation and growth and not least the shopping experience across screens and the service which the company offers to its customers. In addition to DLG, this year’s strong field in the category also included companies such as Velux, Hørkram, Brødrene Dahl and Danfoss.

Impressive combination of two worlds

DLG won silver because of its successful customer portal where the company brilliantly succeeds in combining farming and e-commerce. DLG’s customers can access the customer portal from mobile as well as tablet from where they can easily order products. The solution has been given a warm welcome by the farmers and it helps them in their daily lives as well as it makes the way they run a business more efficient.

Last year, an increased digital focus led to a 30% increase in turnover of DLG’s e-commerce platform and has resulted in a one billion Danish kroner online turnover in 2017. Behind the customer portal and the related app are, in addition to Hesehus, the agencies Alpha Solutions and Frontlab as well as the main agency Shape. Hesehus has taken part in DLG’s digital journey since last year and is a business partner on the development of the customer portal.

With the top position for DLG last Thursday, Hesehus can now be proud of having helped ambitious e-sellers to win 15 top positions in the competition for the E-Commerce Award and we are proud to once again having helped a customer to become acknowledged for the hard work, innovative business strategy and not least the company’s ambitious e-commerce solution which with the prize proves to have impressed the top of the Danish e-commerce industry.

DLG wins gold at Danish Digital Award 2018

One month ago, another prestigious award was awarded, Danish Digital Awards 2018, hosted in TAP1 in Copenhagen. Here DLG managed to reach the top in the category "Mobile" and won gold for the company's excellent performance with the successful app which gives the customers direct access to the customer portal.

Emphasis was on the most inspiring, efficient and well performed work which develops and supports companies’ business activities – which DLG’s e-commerce solution certainly has done.
