At team Bizzkit, you will be met by a team that works together on common goals, where everyone is involved and helps to solve end-to-end tasks. Your mission

As a Software Developer on the team, you will help develop products that are adapted and implemented by many customers and across many industries. 
The companies we target typically have large and complex product catalogs, where an effective search engine is the key to their e-commerce success. To ensure visitors quickly find what they are looking for, our Bizzkit product team has a dedicated search sub-team, Discovery. The team consists of a Senior Project Manager & Team Lead, a Senior Solution Architect, two Senior Backend Developers and a Senior Frontend Developer. On the Discovery team, you will therefore work together with experienced search experts while interacting with developers from our solution partners.
The sub-team is responsible for developing a flexible, scalable and high performance search module that can meet customer requirements, as different customers have different needs. The search module is made easy for developers to use by following Microsoft C# coding guidelines, ensuring a consistent look and feel. The search engine is built on the latest version of Elasticsearch to ensure that we always get all the benefits of Elastic. In addition, it is a high priority that the search module works smoothly in the cloud.

Your primary tasks: 

• Implement tools that strengthen the search experience across e-commerce solutions.
• Ensure that our search solutions have the best performance on the market.
• Build new features that are data intensive.
• Ensure our software stands the test of time by maintaining high test coverage and writing thorough documentation.

Who are you?

We are looking for a developer with strong data analytics skills or a keen interest in the field. Ideally, you have at least a couple of years of experience in software development and a higher education degree in IT where you have achieved good results. If you are a trained data scientist, you are ahead on points. 
You have a flair for working with data structure, optimizing ranking algorithms, ensuring high performance and handling large data sets. In an era where artificial intelligence plays an increasingly significant role, you are someone who can dive into data, extract valuable insights and translate them into into practical solutions that improve search engine precision and deliver more targeted results, making it easier for users to find exactly what they are looking for.
You are a skilled and ambitious developer who wants to create generic products that our solution partners and customers love to work with. You have a strong focus on testing and quality, and you eager to analyze complex requirements and implement simple, elegant solutions in close collaboration with the team architect. Above all, you’re mindful of project scope and committed to delivering incremental improvements that make a real difference for the business.

Concepts like Big O notation and time/space complexity are familiar to you when working with algorithms. You can distinguish between good and less effective code during reviews, and you share our passion for Clean Code principles.
